Hi! I'm Angelica/Angge. Welcome to my blog!

Traveling has been a big part of my life ever since I realized how much it makes me happy. And I've always felt that I'm at my best when I travel.

Being a traveler was never in my ‘what I want to be when I grow up’ list. While I was busy worrying and getting frustrated on trying to find the career I want to pursue, life surprised me with its own plan - a free trip to Bangkok in 2008. There I discovered my love for travel and photography.

In November 2010, I had this crazy idea to finally quit my (stressful) investment banking job and travel for a few months. It took me almost a year to save up and tell the people around me about my plans. And in October 2011, I finally quit my job, left Manila, and traveled for five months around Asia - India, trekked in the Himalayas, and backpacked around Southeast Asia. That whole trip made me realize that dreams can come true. It all starts with making the decision to make it happen. ;)

I'm currently back in the Philippines, and have gone on month-long and week-long trips to nearby countries in Southeast Asia and in Greece. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to save enough to travel outside Asia - South America and Europe.

This blog is where I write down stories and thoughts, and share photos from my travels. Hope you guys enjoy reading them and I hope it can somehow 'push' or inspire you to pursue that love for travel. ;)

I've also contributed some travel posts/articles on Passion Passport, you can read them here:

- Spanish Old Man in departures. season 2 chile episode

in English:
"Live life to the fullest. It's the best way. Live every moment intensely. Because life is too short, and the moment comes when we're going to die, and we'd have wished to do so many things we didn't. That's why we have to enjoy every moment. One must enjoy life. Try not to acquire so many things, but instead have experiences. Accomplish everything you want to do, no matter the effort that it deserves. Life is too short and one must relish it."
